it feels like it's been ages since i've been able to sit down and think. i have so much on my plate right now. kinda like when dustin says "it's all you can eat, not all you can carry". although i won't be listening that adage tonight when we go to panda garden. ha!

so, about being a high school teacher...i love my job. i love working with my students, even if there are days where i want to strangle some of them...and i mean that in the most loving way, of course :) i've grown so attached to them that i went home in tears last night because sometimes life just throws them too many curve balls. i was so lucky to have the family and friend base that i have. it reminds me to be thankful every single day.

oh, i've been accepted as a presenter at a national conference in october!! but...i'm also behind on preparing to present at said conference. *sigh*. it'll all come together...it always does. i'm just trying not to stress about it and get through the month of september and my 6 IEP meetings.

dustin is planning on taking the GRE in november. i'm so proud of him.

we're also awaiting the arrival of our nephew, maddox harrison caram. well, at least we think that's his name. he should be here any day and we can't wait!

some other things that make me happy right now are...

um, heck yes. starts next sunday.

started last night and it's good to be back...

and finally, east bound and down. so. hilarious.

i don't know what we're going to do when we have children. our poor babies are going to be exposed to some incredibly depraved tv characters. we just can't give them up.

well, that's all i have for now. off to eat chinese food!
