Wow. It's been ages since I updated this thing. Time has just flown and we don't even have kids to blame! Carolina has been asking for a blog update, so of course, I had to oblige her...
I was so excited to get to spend Thanksgiving with my family this year. While I love living in Oklahoma, I really do miss getting to see my family in Texas. Only getting to see them 2 times a year is really tough so I have to really enjoy the moments I get with them.
We started our journey in San Antonio. Erica and Jill live there and work at a fabulous resort (where my even more fabulous mother was kind enough to put Dustin and myself up while we were there). If you haven't been, The JW Marriott in the San Antonio Hill Country is BEAUTIFUL.

Then it was on to Houston! We got to see lots of friends and family and then had to make our annual trip to the Renaissance Festival. SO. AWESOME.
Let's just say this is a place where you can definitely let your freak flag fly.
